ENGLAND!

In September i got to go back to England and visit some of my family. I went with Millie (Since she was still free to fly and because she was too little for me to leave for that long) and my Mum and sister. On our way we flew into JFK, NY and what problems we had there. That airport is SO huge! We only had an hour and a half to get from one flight to the next and after having to travel from terminal 2 to terminal 7 (which ended up taking about half an hour) we were told the flight to Manchester, England was closed and we couldn't get on the flight. We kept getting the runaround between the 2 terminals between Delta and British airways.......each saying it was the other people's fault. Delta wanted us to each pay $2200.00 to get on their next flight (That was double what we paid for the whole trip!!!) and British airways just kept saying - it was not our fault, go back to Delta!!! It was so frustrating and after we told them what we thought of them....finally British Airways said they would fly us to London, then up to Manchester. It took a lot longer to get there and i have to say, Millie was such a trooper - She was so good on the flights.

We Spend just over a week there and we had so much fun visiting family, shopping and eating lots of yummy food!! Millie and i stayed at my brother Jared and his wife Jo's house (Thanks Holly for letting me sleep in your bed!) and my Mum and sister stayed at my brother Scott and his wife Reese's house. It had been over 4 years since i had seen my brothers and it was so much fun to see them again. Hopefully it won't be long till both of their families are living over here....can't wait for that to happen.
Millie at first was a little scared of both Jared & Scott, but as the days wore on she took a shinning to them both. She also loved Red (Jared & Jo's dog)and she loved lying on his dog bed with him (Thanks Jo for keeping it clean for her!). She loved playing with Holly & Libby and loved it when Libby would take her for a walk. She also loved Auntie Jo Jo, who would play with her every day, and who always let her play on her little chair.

One night we went over to see Auntie Marj (Mum's sister) and her husband Mick. My Cousin Becky stopped by to say hi (Everyone says we look a lot alike)

I had a fun get together with some girls i went to school with when i lived in England. It was nice to see them all and catch up with all that is going on in their lives (Thanks to face book, which helped us all get back in contact with each other.)

Julie, Vanessa, Jenny, Kristen, Alice & Anna

The Alderly Edge Train Station. This is where i would catch the train everyday to go home from School!

We had such a great time. It was so nice just to see my family -(Thanks to all of you for the fun & for all that you dis for us!!). But i was ready to come home, to see Kent & Jaxon- Thanks to everyone that helped watch Jax while i was gone.

Jared & Jo sent Jax a proper English football shirt, he even had his name put on the back. Jaxon thinks it is AWESOME and always wants to wear it - he also keeps asking when he is starting Soccer - Not till the spring buddy!!

(**Hopefully i will post more pictures of this trip soon)

Happy 1st Birthday MILLIE!

On September 10th (yes, it has been that long since i last posted!) our cute little MILLIE turned one! Our Family came over for Cupcakes and ice cream and to help us celebrate Millie's big day. Millie really was spoiled when it came time to open her presents. Some of the Gifts she received were: Hair bows, Dress, Zoo animal parade, Sit on Zebra, doll, puzzle, clothes, books, phone........thanks everyone!

Millie wasn't sure what to think when she was opening up her first few presents.... so Jaxon jumped right in to help her out.

Millie loved her baby doll that giggled when you pushed her tummy!

Yummy cupcakes.

Millie loved her cupcakes and loved getting all messy!

We hope you had a wonderful birthday Millie....We love you so much and can't believe it has been a year since you were born. You are so much fun to have in our family and we love seeing you learn and grow everyday! Happy Birthday Princess!!

The First day of Preschool!

Jaxon started Preschool on September 3rd. He was SO excited to go - he had been asking for weeks when he got to go to school. Lindsay Smith in our ward was starting a preschool this year, so we were excited to have a 3 year old class so close to home!! When i picked Jaxon up, he kept telling me he got put in time out! (On the first day of school?!? - this is going to be a long year!! ) After talking to Lindsay, i found out he really didn't get put in timeout. He was just told that he needed to be quieter and keep his hands to himself. (Apparently him & McKay hit it off good!) Hopefully he won't be the troublemaker of the class!! He had so much fun and kept asking when he could go back to school with Mrs. Lindsay!
Going into preschool on the first day.
Jax remembered exactly where his hook was to hang up his backpack.

Jaxon didn't even cry when i left- what a big guy!

**Jax - you are such a cutie. I can't believe that you are going to preschool! It seems like it was only yesterday i held you in my arms as a newborn!! I am so glad that you enjoyed your first day. I was kind of sad to leave you! I love you so much and hope you find a lot of joy in learning new things!**

2 Buck Tuesdays!

For the month of August Thanksgiving point had a special, on Tuesday's everything was only $2. What a steal!! We went 3 times - twice to the children's garden & once to the Dinosaur Museum. Jaxon really had fun each time we went - Millie was happy to be along for the ride. The first time we went we went to the Children's Garden with Grandma Krupa, Sarah, Josh, Mckenna, Madi & Lauren. It was SO hot & busy - but the kids still had fun. We mostly just let them play in the water.

The next week we went to the Dinosaur Museum. We went with my Friends LeAnn & Krista and their kids. We had never been before, it was good - Jax really enjoyed himself. It was So busy - I definitely need to take him back when school is in and we can look at everything better.

Olivia, Ryder & Jaxon

Jaxon playing in the sand - it was so busy, there was hardly any room (or sand) to play.

Cute face buddy!!

Me, Millie, LeAnn & Krista (Jaxon took this picture for us, he did pretty well - for a 3 year old!)

The last Tuesday of August we went with LeAnn & Ryder back to the Children's gardens. This time was so much better. It was cooler and a lot less busy (School had started). We got to walk all through the gardens before we had a picnic and let the kids play in the water.
The waterfalls were so pretty!
I love this picture of Millie & Jaxon

We had so much fun - hopefully next year they do it again!!

Dirt Bike

Jaxon loves Dirt bikes right now. If you ask him what he want's for his birthday he says a little dirt bike - um, i don't think so. (Probably doesn't help that he is always looking at them online with his dad.) A few nights ago he snuck outside into the backyard to sit on HIS big bike. (once again he is just in his undies?!?)Pretending to fill up the tank with the hose.

Kick-starting it.Just going for a ride!
About a month ago, Uncle Josh was giving Jax a "ride" on the dirt bike. Jax thought it was so fun & they looked so cute. When we looked out the window this is what we saw:

Thanks Josh for always being so good to Jaxi-bug!

Grandma Keele

I found this video that Kent's cousin (Sharon) made after Grandma Keele's funeral. (You need to pause the music on my playlist at the bottom of the page) When i watch this it makes me remember what a special lady Evelyn was. She was so funny and could always make you laugh. Random things i remember about her are: Playing hollywood, dice, crocheted slippers & hats, jigsaw puzzles, potato salad, camping, coffee, ginger snaps, quilting, the blue jacket she always wore, the brown car she drove (duster?) then the silver one, coming into Lehi harts on a Sunday morning to get her paper, bbq's, Lehi park, giving people the "bird" - aka the family salute, shaving her head (after she started losing it to the chemo), she would always draw on Kent's mom's tablecloth (Kent would get the blame - he he!!), fun, exciting, family, she LOVED her grandkids, wonderful, kind, loving, STRONG, missed, never forgotten.
