Carving up the Pumpkins!

Finally, (to Jaxon's delight) we carved our pumpkins!! We all went over to my Mum & Dad's house tonight to celebrate my dad's birthday....we had yummy Chili & Rolls followed by chocolate birthday cake & Ice cream. Then we got busy carving our pumpkins. Jaxon was a good helper - helping me & dad pull out the insides of the pumpkins, and he couldn't wait till we were finished carving them. (Jax & dad did a face & i did a cat) He thought they turned out pretty awesome. We had lots of fun hanging out with the family and thought everyone did a great job with their pumpkins!!
Everyone busy carving

Madi did a face

Reed (my brother in law) and lauren - did a cat

McKenna, Josh & Sarah (my sister in law) did a bat

Millie had fun playing and running around
Millie with Grandpa Jerry
(A funny little story...Jerry is my sister's father in law...he came up to stay with them for a couple of weeks and i was telling Jax on the way up to see him last week that Jerry - Lauren's Grandpa was at her house, he asked me if he was his grandpa too, i told him no....but as soon as we walked through the door he started calling him Grandpa Jerry. Every two seconds he is saying something like...."look at my pumpkin Grandpa Jerry.......Grandpa Jerry i have a new teacher at school........Where is your dog Grandpa Jerry" Jax is so funny and it is so cute to sit & listen to him talk to his new Grandpa!!)

We had so much fun - we love this family tradition!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week we went with Grandma Krupa, Aunt Sarah, Lauren, Madi & Grandpa Smith to pick out some pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Jaxon was so excited to finally get his pumpkin....although he wasn't too happy that he couldn't carve it up right there and then. He has asked every day since we bought them home "can we cut my pumpkin today?" Somedays he has been fine when we told him "no", other days tears have been shed!! He loved to pull the wagon around looking for the "perfect" pumpkin.....of course he couldn't leave Dad out and he made sure he picked Dad a good one too!

Jaxon LOVED this Elmo with the pumpkins

Millie holding her pumpkin (that Jaxon picked out for her.....she was too busy eating her animal crackers to care)

She really will eat anything!!

We always say that Millie is a little piggy - you couldn't tell by looking at her (she is only in the 5th % for weight) but she can eat SO much food. She will go to anyone who has food, as long as they are willing to share. Well, last week Millie was outside at G & G Drakes, just walking around while Grandpa was getting a paper airplane down from the roof for Uncle Josh.....when Grandpa noticed that Millie had something in her mouth, so he went over to investigate. Well, Grandpa found her eating POOP that a little neighbor dog had left in their front yard!! That's right - Millie ate dog poop! - SO GROSS!! He quickly took her into the bathroom and cleaned her up. Thank goodness Grandpa found her (i don't think i could have handled cleaning up that!) When he was done he said he really wasn't in the mood for dinner anymore.....can't say I blame him!
Millie, Millie, Millie.... we really hope that this was the first AND THE LAST time you ever eat dog poop!!

Today is my Niece's 8th birthday! We just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday Lauren! We love you and hope you have a great day!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY JAXON!!

Jaxon had his 4th Birthday on October 1st. We had family over and had a good time watching Jaxon rip open all his presents. He loved every single toy and has played with them all almost everyday since his birthday! Gifts he received: Tonka truck, 4-wheelers, Trucks, Remote Control truck & Jeep, Soccer ball, Skateboard Ramp, Baseball Helmet, clothes & more!! How lucky can once little guy get??
Jaxon invited his little friend, Jamison, to come over to his party. He loves to play with Jamison when he is at G & G Drake's.

His Skateboard/Bike ramp from Mummy & Daddy

Jax got 2 remote controls from G & G Krupa - a Jeep and a Dodge truck. Dad couldn't believe Grandma would ever buy a Dodge - we're a FORD family you know!! - wait, my van is a Dodge?!? - i guess it only matters when trucks are involved!

Jax & Jamison

Soccer ball from Aunt Joy & Uncle Farin

Tonka Truck from G & G Drake

Millie wearing Jax's new batting helmet from Aunt Rachel

Jaxon had a Chocolate cake and it had English candy bars crumbled on the top - YUMMY!! Jaxon blew out all his candles in one try! We hope you had a great 4th birthday. We love you!!

ENGLAND!

In September i got to go back to England and visit some of my family. I went with Millie (Since she was still free to fly and because she was too little for me to leave for that long) and my Mum and sister. On our way we flew into JFK, NY and what problems we had there. That airport is SO huge! We only had an hour and a half to get from one flight to the next and after having to travel from terminal 2 to terminal 7 (which ended up taking about half an hour) we were told the flight to Manchester, England was closed and we couldn't get on the flight. We kept getting the runaround between the 2 terminals between Delta and British airways.......each saying it was the other people's fault. Delta wanted us to each pay $2200.00 to get on their next flight (That was double what we paid for the whole trip!!!) and British airways just kept saying - it was not our fault, go back to Delta!!! It was so frustrating and after we told them what we thought of them....finally British Airways said they would fly us to London, then up to Manchester. It took a lot longer to get there and i have to say, Millie was such a trooper - She was so good on the flights.
Millie on the flight from SLC to JFK
We Spend just over a week there and we had so much fun visiting family, shopping and eating lots of yummy food!! Millie and i stayed at my brother Jared and his wife Jo's house (Thanks Holly for letting me sleep in your bed!) and my Mum and sister stayed at my brother Scott and his wife Reese's house. It had been over 4 years since i had seen my brothers and it was so much fun to see them again. Hopefully it won't be long till both of their families are living over here....can't wait for that to happen.
Millie at first was a little scared of both Jared & Scott, but as the days wore on she took a shinning to them both. She also loved Red (Jared & Jo's dog)and she loved lying on his dog bed with him (Thanks Jo for keeping it clean for her!). She loved playing with Holly & Libby and loved it when Libby would take her for a walk. She also loved Auntie Jo Jo, who would play with her every day, and who always let her play on her little chair.

We were able to see Auntie Ann (My mum's oldest sister) and we went out to eat with her & her husband Roger. (Sarah, Auntie Ann, Mum)

The streets are so small!

One of the Hotel's in Congleton - i love the house's etc - they all have their own personality!

Becky, Mum, Marj

One night we went over to see Auntie Marj (Mum's sister) and her husband Mick. My Cousin Becky stopped by to say hi (Everyone says we look a lot alike)

I had a fun get together with some girls i went to school with when i lived in England. It was nice to see them all and catch up with all that is going on in their lives (Thanks to face book, which helped us all get back in contact with each other.)

Julie, Vanessa, Jenny, Kristen, Alice & Anna

The Alderly Edge Train Station. This is where i would catch the train everyday to go home from School!

We had such a great time. It was so nice just to see my family -(Thanks to all of you for the fun & for all that you dis for us!!). But i was ready to come home, to see Kent & Jaxon- Thanks to everyone that helped watch Jax while i was gone.

Jared & Jo sent Jax a proper English football shirt, he even had his name put on the back. Jaxon thinks it is AWESOME and always wants to wear it - he also keeps asking when he is starting Soccer - Not till the spring buddy!!

(**Hopefully i will post more pictures of this trip soon)
