First Family Blog

I am excited to join the world of blogging. It has been fun reading everyones blog and i am excited that i will be able to share the cute and simple things that happen in our home everyday. I am not great on the computer, so i hope that i will be able to figure this whole blogging thing out.

Here is a quick recap of the things that happened in our family last week. Last Sunday was a very busy day. It was Easter and we had a great time being able to be with our families. Kent was Ordained an Elder, It was so exciting to have this happen on Easter Sunday - a day we will not forget. I am so proud of him and all he does for our family. Jaxon did his first talk in Sharing Time. He talked about Jesus and he was so excited and did an excellent job. It was crazy having our little 3 year old be such a good example for us.

Millie decided that she loves pears and gobbled up the whole jar every time i fed it to her.

Kent has been working hard on his truck's engine this past week. Hopefully he will have it up and running sometime this week? Month? Year? Who knows! But when it is finished it will just sit there because who can afford to drive it when Diesel is over $4 a gallon?? Not us that is for sure.

I actually went to the Gym twice this week - a miracle for me! Not that it did any good after eating all the Easter candy we had in our house. I had to ship most of it with Kent to work because i could not stop eating it..........all this talk about candy is making me hungry.....i think i will go see if i can sneak some of Jaxon's that he has left.........
