We asked Jaxon what it would take for him to give up his Binky. He told us a new bike, so on Saturday we went to Walmart to look at the bikes. He picked out the one that he really wanted, and when we left the store we told him that when he was ready to not have a Binky anymore then he could get the bike. On Sunday, he decided that he was going to throw his Binky's away!!! Yeah!! (Don't worry - he is almost 4!) So we decided to cut up the Binky's - no going back. He has done really well. He cried a little last night, so we got on the Internet and he was able to look at the bike he picked and it calmed him down. We were supposed to leave for Lake Powell today (we ended up not being able to leave till tomorrow) so we told him when we got home the new bike would be waiting for him. Well, since we didn't leave he was sure he was getting his bike TODAY!! He cried for his Binky a few times and i would just tell him "you don't have a Binky anymore because you are getting a new bike" he kept saying "then i want my bike"......i really couldn't argue with him on that, so we went to pick up his bike....he was soooo excited!!

Jaxon, you rode your bike so much! You kept going across the grass, up the sidewalk, back to Grandma's driveway! You are AWESOME at riding your new bike.
I couldn't help posting this cute picture of Millie, she liked watching Jax ride his new bike!

Congratulations on the big step! Any suggestions in getting my 5 year old to quit sucking her thumb????
Way to go! My 5 year old still sucks his thumb too. If only I could take that away. He keeps telling me when he is going to stop. He told me he would stop when he turned 5, now it is when he starts kindergarten. UGH! (We miss you guys!)
